So there goes my life,
Passing by with every exit sign.
And it's been so long,
Sometimes I wonder how I will stay strong.
No sleep tonight,
I'll keep on driving these dark highway lines.
And as the moon fades,
One more night gone, only twenty more days.
But I will see you again,
I will see you again,
a long time from now.
I don't know how you long-distance people do it.
It's been over two weeks, and I miss John like none other :(
Twenty days until I get to see him again...

So today is my first full day home for the summer! It feels weird though because I'd rather be back at school. I miss my John :(
I'll be out job-hunting on Monday because I do NOT want to go back to baking cookies for another summer. I am so done working with food.
I have one week off before I have two more months of school lol. But it's not that big of a deal, because it's just an English class online through Scraft.
Oh! I have a roommate for next year now!!! Chelsea decided to ditch the girl she hated but was rooming with anyway so she could come next door and live with me :)
Next year is probably going to be pretty good. But I am going to be one busy girl, assuming everything works according to plan. I'll already be on Infusion again, and I'll be working, and then I'm auditioning to be on Orchesis dance team as well, and to adopt a grandparent!
BY THE WAY, I forgot to say that I'll be a real dance teacher in the fall!!!!!!! I got a job at that studio downtown (...Mt. Pleasant, that is, lol) teaching a little kids' tap class and two pre-ballet classes. I'm so excited!
Also, I need to start driving again so I can finally get my license. Bleh. I need to just suck it up, do it and be done with it. Then I can get a car and move on with my life.
And go visit John sometimes over the summer XD

Life is still unbelievably good.
I'm working on the New Year's resolutions, for real this time. I stopped biting my nails for almost 2 weeks before I had a weak moment. I'm working on growing them back again.
College is still crazy awesome. Infusion is the greatest thing in the world! And Alyssa moved out at semester, so I have my own room now!!! You guys know what that means- I need people to come visit me because I have an extra bed now! It's so awesome, because I still have Hillary and Kristen in the other room, so I don't get like lonely or anything, but I have the whole closet and dresser in my room now!
I finished choreographing my solo, and I'm auditioning for Honors Talent Show in 3 weeks! It's gonna be so fun :D
I miss tapping
Teaching Folk and Square Dance is possibly the sweetest class I have ever taken or will ever take in my life. I have so much fun in that class.
I am so excited for Valentine's Day it's ridiculous. It'll be my first one not spent internally moping around!!
AND I went to my first real party last Thursday, or as close to a party as I've ever been lol considering there were only like 10 people there. I played beer pong for the first time XD
But I didn't drink. And it's a good thing I don't drink, because let me tell you, I am absolutely terrible at beer pong. Everyone probably thought I was the drunk one haha
I will say though that I think even though I get bored way more often this year, I'm pretty sure life moves faster in college somehow. It's like one second you'll be like blahh I'm bored, and what seems like the next you have all this stuff to deal with. If that makes any sense at all lol.

Dang. I should really update this a little more often lol. It's not like nothing has happened in the past two months!!! So much has happened it's ridiculous hahaha
Anyway. I'm here today to make some New Year's resolutions. And no, posting on LJ more often isn't one of them. Because that's not so important.
I want to stop biting my nails. Still. But this time I'm actually going to try. For the last 12 years I've had this same resolution, but except for maybe the first few times, I've never really cared enough to try and actually stop. And when I did try, I was too young to really have that much willpower. It was kind of an A for effort sort of deal.
I'm also still on the search for a real best friend. I mean, John is my best friend, but I need one who's a girl too. So we'll see if that decides to happen.
Also, I am going to get a six-pack by summer. By June, anyway. I'll settle for like a four-pack if I have to, but my goal is a six-pack. I want some muscle!
And last but not least, I am going to make this relationship as amazing as it can possibly be, and make it last forever, if possible :)

Wow. I feel like it's been FOREVER since I last wrote on here. Maybe because it has.
Last time I typed an entry, I had just gotten asked out by John the day before!
Now... we just had our 1-month anniversary :)
Well I guess I'll go wayyy back, because I have some good stories.
That date with John was awesome. And by awesome I mean hilarious. Which is even better because that was the first date I've ever been on lol.
A bit of a background to the story: the weekend before our date some idiot threw a beer bottle through the back windshield of John's car, so he had to break the whole windshield out of the car and tape garbage bags over the giant gaping hole hahaha
So to start out, we're driving around in this car with garbage bags taped to the back, and when he was driving we couldn't even like talk because the bags were so freaking loud blowing in the wind. He was taking me to this Chinese restaurant because sesame chicken is both of our favorite foods, but he didn't know exactly where the restaurant was and he wouldn't even tell me where he was taking me hahaha. So we're driving down Mission St. and eventually we hit cornfields. Obviously not the right area lol, so we had to drive to the next town before we could turn around because Mt. Pleasant is in the middle of nowhere. When we're on our way back to Mt. Pleasant, the garbage bags started coming untaped hahaha and there are little glass shards flying up to the front seat occassionally!!! John was just like, "well... this isn't going exactly as I pictured it..." hahaha
It was hilarious.
So we stopped at a gas station to get directions and take the garbage bags off the back of the car.
We eventually made it to the restaurant, and everything went fine after that. Once we took the garbage bags off, the glass stopped flying around the car XD
Best first date story ever.
Skipping a few weeks, Homecoming was the last weekend of September, and that means Mock Rock!!!
Mock Rock was this competition between all of the dorms for who had the best (aka most ridiculous) dance. I choreographed ours. Since the theme for Homecoming was Marooned, we did Peter Pan for our dance, and I got to be Wendy :D
It was awesome. And we did amazingly, if I do say so myself. We totally deserved to win.
But oh well. It was still sooo much fun.
The next weekend I got to go home! And I visited my dance studio, which was so awesome because I got to see everyone and I missed them so much! Then I went to Churchill on Friday for my observations for Intro to Teaching. I went to CAPA for 1st and 2nd hour, which was just so amazing, because I didn't even realize how much I missed everyone there. I got to see Chicken Nuggets :D
And Jaycie and Alexis are in CAPA now. They're growing up so fast!!!
Then I went to Ms. Buchta's class for the rest of the day, which was a good time too. I got to each lunch with the foreign language department lol
Then Saturday night was Alyssa's surprise party. Kirsten drove me, and we were sitting in Alyssa's living room waiting for her to show up, when my phone rang and it was her! It was HILARIOUS. She invited me over that night! hahahaahaha
I was like, " Awww Alyssa, my parents won't let me go ut tonight... we're having a family night because I'm home for the weekend... sorry! Talk to you later though!" lol and she totally fell for it, and it was so great. Then she got there and we all yelled surprise and her mom pointed over at me and Alyssa was just like, "YOU LIAR!" and it was awesome.
And Steve and I played Bop It Extreme for like 2 hours hahaha
It turns out I'm pretty good at it!
Then Sunday I had to be back early for Infusion dance team auditions, and I made the team!!!!!!! Our first rehearsal is tonight at 8 and I am so ridiculously excited!
Last weekend was the road trip, and it was so much fun! It ended up being just me, John, Jake, Taylor, and Hillary, because Kristen's mom decided to come up here on Friday night and not let Kristen go with us :(
We were going to Frankenmuth first, and we totally got lost for a good 15-20 minutes in Midland lol. So we're driving around Midland for forever and Taylor's just complaining about how she needed a map or something, and she's like, "Can I..." and Jake just like randomly goes, "...get a what what?!" HAHAHAHAHAHA
And that was probably the highlight of my weekend. We were laughing sooooo hard. It was great.
Frankenmuth was a good time. I got some chocolate cheese. Then we went to my house for awhile and Emily came over!!! And Jake was so pumped because my dad made us hamburgers. hahaha
And we played some DDR which was a good time. And we went on the trampoline, which was also fun. Except it was mostly just me and Emily on the trampoline. But oh well.
Then we went to the drive-in and I always forget just how much I love that place until I go there again. The movie sucked, but the fact that it was at the drive-in just made it awesome. And they sold fried chicken at the concession stand XD
And rat-poison-flavored M&Ms, apparently.
Then we got back to my house and went to bed. We had to wake up at 7 the next morning so we could leave at 8 because Hillary had to be back for some dumb volunteering thing she signed up for lol
Then we got back and John and I went to the game, which would have sucked if we hadn't won. Nobody went, and it was freezing. It was ok though.
Then the rest of Saturday was amazing.
And Sunday morning ;)

lol seriously. I love it here soo much.
I didn't make Orchesis though :(
Which kinda makes me really sad because I really wanted to make it, and honestly I thought I would. But oh well. Always next year I guess. And I still have 2 more dance teams to try out for lol!
My classes are sweet. I like my teachers (except for Intro to Philosophy lol). I get way less homework now than I did in high school. I'm going to a master class tonight with some guy who'll be teaching lyrical and hip hop!
And I'm going on a date on Wednesday :)
Life is good.

So I'm totally a CMU college kid now!
My roommates are really nice. Kristen and Hillary and I all hang out together, and Alyssa (who is the one I actually share my room with) is never here lol. She moved in two days ago, like me, and she hasn't slept in our dorm yet! I've seen her for like an hour over the past two days. I mean, I like hanging out with her; she's really nice, but she's never here! She just hangs out with her friends she already knew who go here. Oh well. It's kinda nice to not actually have a roommate anyway! lol
So to replace Alyssa, we've basically adopted this girl named Taylor. She's really cool. And her 3 roommates are all juniors and they're all best friends, so she's the odd one out. But it's ok because she jut spends all of her time with us lol. She keeps her Chex Mix in our room hahaha.
Thursday night Josh came and hung out with us, and they all liked him, which is good.
And today Meg came to see me! Yay!
Yesterday night we walked over to Taco Bell for dinner, which was fun. Then when we got back we met a bunch of new people! Someone knocked on the door, and when we opened it there were these two guys and a bunch of girls lol, and the guys lived in our room last year I guess. They were nice. And then they left and we were talking to these girls who live down the hall, and one of them has the same major as me and she's taking the same level of Spanish! She's not in my class though. And they're all sophomores. But they invited us over anytime, so we'll probably end up being friends with them.
Then we went to this thing at Target where we got bussed there, and then we got to shop after hours and there were discounts and stuff, and we all got a free laundry bag with like Febreeze in it and stuff lol. It was cool. Then we went back and got free Pizza Hut and pop, which was sweet! And we took our pizza into the common room and watched tv. And we found a channel that's entirely in Spanish! So we watched it for a good half hour or so hahaha. And Hillary takes Spanish, but Kristen takes French lol. Anyway, channel 48 is where it's at!
So I hope you're all having a fantastic time at college! Keep in touch!

1. List 5 celebrities you would have sex with without even asking questions.
2. Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them. (5 - 1, 1 is the hottest.)
3. Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
4. Supply photos for said people.
---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- -
OK, fair warning, most of them aren't real celebrities hahaha... just dancers.
5. Jason Dohring. Played Logan Echolls on Veronica Mars.

4. Jeremy Gaynier. First saw him FOREVER ago at a competition... I was probably like 13. AMAZING dancer. Verrry good looking as well!

3. Ricky Ullman!!! HOT. Especially in Pixel Perfect, which is also what I first saw him in.

2. Kyle Molter. First saw him at... Hall of Fame regionals '07? I don't remember, but it was somewhere this past year where Lauren and Meg both were. So he's a year younger than me, but you know what? I can deal. He's worth it XD

1. ANTHONY J RUSSO. Hall of Fame nationals 2006. This man is sooo freaking amazing. And GORGEOUS. And he can sing, play guitar, and tap at the same time! If that's not talent, I don't know what is.

Dance camp last week was sooo much fun. The kids were so cute! Terrible dancers lol, but adorable. Alyssa and I had a good time Monday and Tuesday. It was so awesome because we got to do all the sweet steps we used to do back in the day. It was so old school! I mean, rideouts. LOL. And Tuesday was intense because I helped out at camp from 10:30-4 and then I went and took my classes from 5:30-9. So I basically spent the whole day at the studio. But that's the way I like it. And I've been trying to get as much time in there as I possibly can before I have to leave. And since Miss Becky left after ballet for Chicago, Nicole taught jazz/lyrical and I got to teach tap!!! And my class would have been absolutely amazing if everyone except like 5 people hadn't decided to leave. But oh well. I'm over it. And I got paid $75 for the week, which was awesome. I swear to god, Miss Becky has the best job in the world.
And I guess I found out who my real friends are at the grad party! lol my dance friends came through for me, but the rest of you... ouch.
Looks like Josh, Nieri, Lana, Alex, and Paul are the only good friends I have lol. You know, from school anyway.
But we had fun without the rest of you.
And I got to see people I haven't seen in FOREVER. Like Izzy!!! And that was really exciting. And I made $1200!!! WOO!
Also, Paul I hope you didn't get poison oak lol.

So far, I've basically done nothing with my summer lol. On weekends I work, on Tuesdays I dance, and every other day... I do absolutely nothing hahaha.
But it's been nice.
And Stacey has basically spent the summer over here, as usual lol. I'm pretty sure I honestly haven't gone more than like 5 days out of the whole summer without seeing her.
This week should be awesome. I'm teaching tap on Tuesday, which I am wayyy more excited for than I should be lol. I came up with all the steps we're gonna do, and I'm hoping I don't make everyone cry XD
I think they're fun steps. But I guarantee that not many other people are gonna be able to do them.
It should be a good time.
As long as people still like me afterwards hahaha
And I'm teaching at the dance camp with Erin next week too, which should be fun.
Even though Meg's being stupid and going up north instead of teaching with me.
And then it's my grad partyyyyy!!!!!!!
I'm so excited!!!
And I guess that's about it.
I can't believe I only have a month left before real life kicks in again!

Just got home about an hour ago from a SWEET "contemporary" class from none other than TOKYO himself!!!
SO EXCITING.
Except I'm sore already!!! Seriously lol it was like a 20 minute drive home and when I got out of the car I was already sore XD
It was supposed to only be an hour and a half class but we went 45 minutes over hahaha. We did like 45 minutes of work out and an hour and a half of the combination he taught. And the work out was sooo good. And by good I mean ridiculously hardcore. Freaking calf raises in the center! And I mean, push-ups are nothing new lol, but I still hate them like no other. We did some arm stuff too, but it wasn't that bad.
Except it was so awesome because he had us go into the splits and bend up our back leg, which Miss Becky used to always have us do like 2 years ago and I could never do it, but now I can!!! I was excited. And Tokyo was impressed woo!
AND SONIA WAS THERE!!!
And she's as amazing as ever. She did a layout with her head like really close to the floor and held it so they could take a picture!!! CRAZY. I told Stacey I'll be checking back in 10 years and she better be at least as good hahaha.
And Dance Extreme is a pretty nice studio. It's like brand new and she only has 2 studios now but she totally has room for 2 more if she wanted to. Except her big studio isn't completely covered with flooring so there are patches with just the wood that's underneath and it kinda sucked when I had to dance on that. Especially since I was just wearing my dance paws.
And there was this girl there that's only danced for 2 years and she's already been to 8 studios lol but she was seriously sooo good. She must be a natural. It was crazy. Tokyo loved her lol.
Anddd Toks said he's probably gonna come to my grad party!!! I'm so pumped!!!
Anyway. Good class, cool people, good times.
HP5 IMAX with Super Meg tomorrow!!!!!!!

Ok... I haven't typed anything on here in foreverrr.
Let's see...
last day of school (haha yeah like I said, it's been awhile)... the cake walk was by far the best part. And by cake walk I mean walking down the hallways passing out cake to everyone I knew and a few people I didn't know. I met some guy named Mark lol; nice kid. I gave him cake. And I saw Kristin and Maddy sitting by the door in a classroom so I just walked in and gave them cake hahaha their teacher was a little confused. And I brought Meg cake, but she had to eat it in the hallway. And then her teacher yelled at me for being too loud. But hey, I'm totally used to that XD
OH! I GOT A PASS PLUS ON MY CECCHETTI EXAM!!!
So now I'm officially in grade V, which is the first professional grade. So yay me!
Hmm... all-night party was pretty fun. The hypnotist was the best part. Also I owned numerous people at DDR.
I went to the Nelly Furtado concert on the 11th and it was pretty good too. The bands that opened for her sucked though. The one dancer was exactly who Alyssa Simpson would be if she became a background dancer lol.
Then I had orientation on the 14th! Which was SWEET because I got to pick out my classes. And even cooler because my schedule ROCKS. I only have 1 class on Fridays and it's at 8 am so I basically have the whole day free! And I have all my evenings free for dance lol
I'm taking Intro to Teaching, Intro to Honors, Honors World Cultures, Intermediate Spanish 2, and Calc 2. And I'm pretty excited.
It turns out that Spanish 202, which is what I placed into and therefore what I'll be taking, is actually really impressive for a freshman so yay!
And I wasn't originally signed up for a math class, but I wanted to take calc so I had to go talk to the math department head or whoever that lady was lol and it was really funny. I was like, "well I'm not signed up for a math class but I want to take calc 2," and she was like, "oh ok, well I see you're majoring in secondary education. What kind of math do you want to teach?" hahaha and I was just like... "well actually I want to teach Spanish... I just like calculus." And she gave me a funny look XD
Good times.
And since I was the ONLY ONE out of the 300 kids at my orientation session who wants to major in a foreign language, I had a ono-on-one session with the French professor lol, because he's the department head. And I guess my Spanish professor won the award for like best teacher or something 2 years ago, which is cool.
And oh the honors program goes to Mexico every year to help orphans!!! And I am sooo pumped for that lol.
And I made friends with a girl staying 3 rooms away from me. And I met the RA for the floor above me. I think that's about it for that.
Recital... oh man.
Dress rehearsal hahaha! My dad got all the good parts (i.e. pranks) on tape. WOO! Wash That Man was the funniest thing I have ever seen! Not to mention definitely the best prank anyone has ever played!!!
Construction/Bamboo actually looked pretty good! It was funny!
And I totally forgot about Get Up Offa That Thing until I watched it lol, it was hilarious because Miss Becky didn't even get it until we explained it to her hahaha
Saturday's show went pretty well... I was kinda sad that I had no one to perform for, but then I saw Mary and Shannon and Alicia, so that made it a little better. I totally randomly screwed up in Wash That Man and did the wrong arms at one point though, which sucks because I've never even done that wrong before lol! Then it was Ryanne's grad party. I basically showed up, talked a little, then left. Even Ryanne left her own party lol because we were all so exhausted.
Sunday's show was sweet, but it didn't go as smoothly. But everyoneee came, so yay! Except for all the dumb people that cancelled on me. But oh well.
And I didn't even cry until later lol. I was doing really well with not crying until I went to say bye to Miss Becky. I don't even think I can manage to go into how sad I am about leaving right now or I'll start crying again.
So then I went to Izzy's grad party, which was amazing because I haven't seen her or talked to her in 2 years lol! And she hasn't changed a bit from what I can tell lol. She even looks exactly the same. So that was really fun.
And I got my hair cut yesterday!!! I've been saying for months that the day after recital I was gonna get it cut to my shoulders, and I did! And it's pretty cute if I do say so myself.
Wow. ok I'm pretty sure I'm done now. Congratulations if you actually read all of that!

I don't feel like going to sleep yet, so... here I am.
I just got back from watching Spiderman 3.
BY MYSELF.
LOSERS.
ha. Actually I find it half-hilarious and half-pathetic. Yeah, that's right, not even tragic. There's no hope.
I'm such a nerd.
Anyway. So I got to AMC 20 late, as usual, lol. Like a half an hour late because I had a stupid extra Cecchetti practice.
And it was really dark and I couldn't find everyone.
So I sat by myself in the front row because there weren't even any other seats.
Sad, I know.
But I got to make fun of them afterwards for being dumb and not seeing me or replying to my 5000 text messages lol.
Spiderman 2 was sooo much better. It actually had a plot, lol.
So after school Ryanne and I went dress shopping and hit 6 stores in 2 hours lol. Because we're just that cool.
And I still didn't find anything.
But it was still fun.
I really like the way I'm giving each sentence its own line haha.
I'm kinda thinking I might have had more fun at Ryanne's bonfire tonight than I did at the movies. But oh well.
I'm SOOO pumped for prom!!!
And I just found the song the CAPA advanced class is doing for Katy's piece in Annual Concert. It's kinda bizarre, but I totally LOVE the song. I've been listening to it for about 15 minutes now lol.
Meg you should download it so you can hear it. "Over the Pond" by The Album Leaf.
I got my stuff for orientation in the mail today!!!
As in for college!!!
I'm honestly getting really excited for college now that I know where I'm going!
As horribly depressing as it sounds, I kind of can't wait to like... not change who I am, but... I don't know. Become more normal? Maybe.
I want to still be a smart kid, because that's like a major part of who I am lol, but... I want to go to parties and stuff too. And make friends that I'll actually have time to spend with! And just... live life a little more, I guess.
It's going to be so cool to have time! For anything!
But at the same time I'm going to have to find a way to still have dance a lot. Because I refuse to just give that up that easily.
You know what I hate? When I think about something sooo much and I still can't make up my mind.
What's even worse is when I can't even figure out if I have to make up my mind about anything! Or if it's even worth it, or possible, or probable. Or if it actually happened, would I be satisfied? Or would I just wish it hadn't?
If that makes any sense at all.
I really love the way I make everything sooooooo complicated, when there's actually nothing to even think about in the first place.
And in case you couldn't tell, that was definitely sarcasm.
I hate having to say when I'm being sarcastic.
But I'm over it.
I should really stop listening to this song now. haha. It's addicting! And sooo pretty. Ok. I'm replaying it one more time. But that's it, I swear.
I think I'm done rambling now.
Life is good.

So far break's been going pretty well.
Friday I worked the flower sale, which sucked because it actually started snowing! Mr. Scott brought a litle heater and we were all huddling around it lol. But Andrea and Meg both came and bought flowers from me, so that was cool.
Then I worked Friday and Saturday. Nothing too interesting.
Sunday was spent at grandparents' houses. My dad's side was fun as usual. I love those people. But then my mom's side was horribly boring, also as usual lol. I can't stand those people. I just got to watch cable tv, which was sweet.
Monday I went shopping at Twelve Oaks and bought a lot lol. It was a good time. Then Lauren slept over and we finished our dance! WOO! Since it looked like crap at the talent show, we changed that whole ending so hopefully we'll actually look good at Applause.
Tuesday I hung out with Lauren for awhile again, then I went to MSU with Meg and Amanda. Amanda wasn't cool enough to come to the dance clinic though lol. But it was fun. They clearly liked Meg, which was exciting. And I did two quadruple pirouettes in a row!!!!!!! It was sweeet. Except now my right leg hurts like no other, and I'm generally sore all over.
Then Meg and I met up with Amanda and Julie, and I had this fantastic ice cream sandwich at Potbelly's. And it turns out that Julie knows all of the crazy songs that Morgan and Taylor always bring in to dance, lol. Along with all of the Stephen Lynch songs! hahaha
Then we went to Julie's room and Meg and I read a hilarious book. hahaha
Yesterday I basically had to spend the day with the grandma I don't like, but she did take my family to Olive Garden and then shopping, so it wasn't too bad lol. I finally own a blue jean skirt!!! haha I was pretty pumped.
And it turns out I can't go visit Central until next week. So I can't make a college decision til then. But I'm working on it.
